Elementor Basics (1)
- From your dashboard, click on ‘Pages’ or ‘Posts’.
- You’ll see a list of all your pages or posts. Find the one you want to edit.
- Hover over it and click ‘Edit with Elementor’.
- That opens the visual editor, where you can click directly on the page and make changes.
- Always use ‘Edit with Elementor’, not the default edit option.
Understanding the Elementor interface
When Elementor opens, you’ll see two main areas:
- On the right is your page.
- On the left is the editing panel.
- You can click on anything on the page, and the settings will appear on the left.
- Everything is built in blocks, also called “Elementor widgets”.
- Sections contain columns, and columns contain content like text or images.
- You don’t need to remember the names. Just think of them as building blocks you can click and edit.
Something missing?
Send me your question and I will add a lesson on how to do this in this online course.
