How Fleximix Concrete updated their website to serve every type of customer across Central Scotland

Fleximix Concrete supplies high-quality volumetric concrete on demand across Central Scotland, serving commercial, industrial, general construction, and domestic customers. They had an existing website, but it was showing its age and no longer reflected the professionalism or range of the business.

What the old Fleximix website was not doing for a concrete supplier competing across Central Scotland

The old website covered the basics but lacked clear structure for the different types of customer Fleximix serves. A builder ordering large volumes for a commercial project has different needs from a homeowner laying a driveway, and the old website treated them the same. There was no clear separation of services, no prominent display of accreditations, and nothing to help each type of customer quickly find what was relevant to them.

The website had been in place since 2012 and while it communicated the core proposition, the design and structure had not kept pace with the growth of the business or the expectations of customers searching online in 2024.

How the new website speaks to every type of concrete customer

The new website organises everything around the four key customer types: Commercial and Industrial, General Construction, Domestic and DIY, and Flexiblock. Each section clearly sets out what is on offer, with key selling points like BSI quality assurance, 24/7 delivery options, flexible quantities, and no hidden costs front and centre. The result is a website that works as hard for a site manager ordering a large pour as it does for a homeowner needing a small domestic mix.

Two years of above-average conversion rates since the new website launched

Since launch in April 2024, the Fleximix website has consistently converted visitors into enquiries above the industry standard of 1-3% for a service website, maintaining that performance steadily across two full years of trading. For a concrete supplier where timing and reliability matter as much as price, a website that keeps delivering enquiries month after month is as important as the fleet on the road.
